Letizia Palmieri is an Italian-Boston based young classical pianist. 

She enjoys both the solo and collaborative aspects of her performance, performing a wide range from classical to contemporary.

She began piano studies at the age of 5 and she grew up in a musical family which informed her musical literacy and her sense of artistry.

​

She has graduated with a Graduate Performance Diploma in Piano Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, under the tutelage of Maestro Michael Lewin with whom she is now attending Professional Studies Cerificate in Piano Performance, as a  tuition scholarship recipient.

She graduated with highest grade cum laude and honorable mention at Conservatorio ''Nino Rota'' in Monopoli with Maestro Paola Bruni and Roberto De Leonardis.  She previously studied with Maestro Pasquale Iannone at Conservatorio ''Niccolò Piccinni'' in Bari and at ''Accademia Musicale Pescarese'', and with Maestro Daniel Rivera at ''Accademia Musica Ritrovata'' in Livorno.

During her studies, she has also attended several piano masterclasses held by distinguished pianists and pedagogues such as Stephen Beus, Yuval Cohen, Francesco Libetta, Leonid Margarius, Bruno Canino, Giovanna Valente, Ralf Nattkemper, Erling R. Eriksen, M.Wladkowski, Alessandro Deljavan, Boris Bloch, Daniel Lebhardt, Gilles Vonsattel.

She has won over 40 first prizes and absolute prizes in national and international competitions, including :  

32°International Competition for Young Musicians ''Città di Barletta'', Formia International Piano Competition, 

CMS Vienna 18th International Competition, 33° International Competition ''Città di Albenga'', International Competition ''Giulio Rospigliosi'', International Competition'''Piana del Cavaliere, in Memoriam Pietro Iadeluca'', International Competition ''Città di Spoleto'', International Competition ''Giovani Interpreti,Pescara'', ''Concorso Salieri'',Legnago, International Competition ''Città di Bucchianico'', International Competition ''Jacopo Napoli'', International Competition ''Città di Caserta''.

She has taken part of many International Festivals, such as Miami Piano Festival, at Villa Medici Giulini;  International Summer Acdemy Mozarteum University, Salzburg; Harvard Chamber Music Festival (Harvard MA); Livorno Music Festival, Fortezza Vecchia Livorno; Primavera Pianistica Kasteel D'Ursel, Bornem(Belgium); International Festival Duchi d'Acquaviva, Atri.

She had her solo debut with orchestra in Italy at the age of 13, performing Beethoven concerto n.1 with orchestra ''Suoni del Sud'' in Vieste and performing Chopin Concerto op.11 under the baton of conductor Giancarlo Andretta at Teatro  Radar in Monopoli with Orchestra Sinfonica of Conservatorio Nino Rota.

TV appearances have included ORF TV Austria, TG1 RAI  for FAI day 2018.
